Beach Jobs Working on the Beach

You finished the course and do not know what to do?

Want to gain experience and do not know how?

Often there are many questions that haunt the minds of the finalists Course Lifeguards, when faced with the task of seeking employment.

Acquire the skills necessary for the proper exercise of lifeguard, the objectives since Internship program.

The Internship program is the best way to gain experience, not only employment but also a "know to be" business. With the
traineeship, you can learn how to work as a team.

A
traineeship refers to a real perspective of the labor market and offers the opportunity to expand the business vision.
The sound of gulls, the crash of waves, and the laughter of children. Add the sun, the sand and the swimsuits, and throw in cash to work in this environment. Who wouldn’t want to work on the beach and get paid for it?

Finding a beach job isn’t as easy as it seems, however, and the search becomes quite competitive in the summer: not only is this the busiest season on the beach, but swarms of high school and college students are searching for your ideal job as well. So how do you land that job with a view, as it were?

If you want to work right on the beach, being a strong swimmer and certified to perform First Aid/CPR are absolutely crucial to getting hired. At this point in the summer, it’s too late to know how to learn how to swim, but for future summer beach jobs, your local YMCA can provide affordable swimming lessons. Getting First Aid/CPR certified (or recertified), however, is as simple as going to your local American Red Cross center. They can provide classes that provide official certification in less than a day, as well as teach you vital lifesaving skills. If you have a special skill, such as waterskiing, sailing, surfing, or any other cool water sports, search for businesses needing instructors for their classes.

If you want to be a lifeguard, check with the organizations running the beach. They can range from the official Coast Guard to boating clubs and residential communities on private beaches. Lifeguarding jobs go quickly, though (they pay well and the atmosphere is ideal), so apply early and to many places.

You can also check with local summer schools, church and community service groups, and surf shops to see whether there are any classes you can teach. You’ll need to be extremely skilled in whatever you aim to teach (sailing, waterskiing, surfing, even scuba diving), and these jobs will be difficult to find. Alternatively, you can promote yourself as an instructor by tacking up posters and getting your name out on the boardwalk, advertising a flat rate per hour of personal instruction.

Good luck getting that job on the beach! When you come back to school, you can show off your killer tan to all friends.

Seasonal Summer Job

Seasonal Summer Job

As the holiday season is easy to conclude that the summer months are not the best time to find employment. But the slight slowdown in business is not that the market has stopped and that there are no good job opportunities between June and September. We therefore recommend that, whilst still enjoy the beach season, to remain attentive to the market and be sure to take advantage of opportunities that may arise.

- Set goals. Be realistic! The word "vacation" only makes sense for those who have an occupation, and is unemployed should remain active permanently, not to miss out on your door to success! Establish a number of contacts to be made to send letters, interviews, etc.. With any organization that will see one or two hours a day are more than enough!

- Be positive! Keep an attitude in keeping with the season of the year and stay optimistic! Be comfortable with the fact that it is not working and be positive to say. Think of the interesting people he met during the process of looking for work or the new perspective you have about your career. -Demonstrate good to yourself and others.

- Take advantage of opportunities! Even if it is a seasonal place, to make "the holidays" someone may be a good opportunity to return to active, make new contacts and demonstrate its potential. Do not be discourage by a temporary opportunity, even if your goal is a long-term employment!

- The summer jobs Barman, Entertainers tour, lifeguard ... There are many occupations related to the time that, despite its particular characteristics, are real jobs that can go beyond a temporary occupation. Learn to see beyond the prejudice and maybe you can find a way where I had never thought.

- Enrich your knowledge. Accompany your trip to the beach or your evenings on the terrace with the daily newspapers and a good book. This is a good opportunity to keep updated and enrich knowledge, to shine in their potential job interviews!

- Resume contacts. Take the time to contact old friends or acquaintances. Regardless of the time elapsed since the last contact, the holidays offer a good "excuse" to call, give good news and want to leave. The door will be open to a so-called "more seriously" after the summer

- And, of course, do not forget the networking! Go to parties, dinners or other events! Staying at home and isolate themselves, serve only to feed their sense of depression, and do miss good opportunities to meet new people.

Employment scams

Employment scams

Also known as job scams, are a form of advance fee fraud scamming where certain unscrupulous persons posing as recruiters or employers offer attractive employment opportunities which require the job seeker to pay them money in advance, usually under the guise of work visas, travel expenses, and out-of-pocket expenses.

The scams typically involve lucrative offers of employment in Europe, the Middle East, West Africa, or South Africa with money demanded to be paid to an agency or travel agent for visas or travel costs. These companies often present themselves with official-looking websites and documentation. Once the victim has paid the advanced fees for employment, the business either declines employment or ceases operating as soon as the transfer is finalized.

This type of scam has become more and more frequent recently due to the popularity of Nigerian 419 scams, and growing suspicion towards e-mails offering to transfer money from bank accounts, especially those originating in Africa. Unlike 419 scams, job scams tend to mostly target persons looking for employment in other nations such as hopeful immigrants or contractors and operate out of nations with high immigrant and foreign employment rates.

It is advisable to be wary of any job offerings which arrive in e-mail unsolicited and eventually require anyone to pay a fee in advance, particularly if the fee is asked to be paid through a financial services company such as Western Union, or if one must pay the amount to a bank or person in a third country (especially a West African nation) that is suspiciously unrelated to either party. Most reputable companies and/or agencies will absorb these costs themselves if they are the ones seeking the employee.
